Meet your Coaches

  1. Samantha Shain Gym Director, Cheer Coach, Tumble Instructor
    Samantha is currently the gym director as well as head coach here at TSC! She has been coaching at TSC for the past 3 years but has been coaching for a total of 8 years. She is also the head cheerleading coach at Concord High School. She has coached her teams to many championships over the years, including, BATC, One-Up, and American Masters. Samantha has been involved with the sport since she was 3 years old where she has competed at many prestigious competitions over the years (NCA, The Summit, US Finals, UCA). Samantha is a 2x NCA Champion as well as UCA and US Finals Champion, she also took 2nd at the first ever Summit! Being in the gym and being with her athletes is something that brings her so much joy. Coaching is her passion and something she truly loves to do!
  2. Abby Severino
    Abby has been involved in All Star cheerleading for 10 years, competing herself for 7 years. With her team, she won UCA Nationals in 2008 and 2009, and NCA Nationals in 2011. She also competed at the 2012 Cheerleading Worlds. After her freshman year as a Temple University Cheerleader she stepped back from cheering herself and was invited to be on NCA Staff where she continued her coaching career. Since then Abby has worked as a tumbling instructor here and there while focusing on her school work at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. She just graduated and is super excited to be back in DELCO where she will be able to coach at TSC!
  3. Ciana Perez
    She has 15 years of All Star Cheerleading experience, including competing at NCA, UCA, Worlds, and Summit multiple times. She is a member of UCA Staff. She is going into her 3rd year cheering at Wilmington University and has won UCA College Nationals 2016 & 2017 and placed 6th in UCA College All Girl Partner Stunt 2017! Ciana also specializes in stunting technique and flyer flexibility.
  4. Nicollette Galarus Office Manager, Kindergym Instructor
    Nicollette has cheered all through high school at Springfield High School. She coached Springfield SYC juniors. She is a Millersville University graduate, where she studied Elementary Education. She now teaches second grade at St. Athanasius School. Nicollette is our office manager and can also be found teaching our tiniest athletes in tumble classes!
  5. Jamaine Haines. Tumble Director
    Jamaine has been a gymnast since he was 5 years old. He has been a gymnastics coach for 4 years now. He was also involved in all-star cheerleading for 3 years. After high school, he decided to do college cheer and has won UCA Nationals in 2016 and 2017 with Wilmington University. Jamaine specializes in tumble technique and progression of all levels!
  1. Samuel Small Cheer Coach, Tumble Instructor, Stunt Coach
    Sam has 3 years of All-Star Cheerleading experience. He competed at NCA and won while competing on the TSC team Entourage, also have competed at the Summit three times. Sam also specializes in jump technique and flyer/stunt technique. This will be his second-year coaching at TSC All Stars.
  2. Kari Shain Cheer Coach, Tumble Instructor, Stunt Coach
    Kari is a coach as well as cheerleader here at TSC! She has been involved with cheerleading for her entire life. This is her second-year coaching and she loves it! She has competed at many prestigious competitions over the years, including, NCA, UCA, One-Up, The Summit, The D2 Summit, US Finals, etc. She is a 3x NCA Champion as well as a One-Up and US Finals Champion! She is a tumble instructor as well as stunt coach here at TSC! She is loving coaching, as well as cheering and getting the best of both worlds!
  3. Michelle Lucas Cheer Coach, Tumble Instructor
    This is Michelle Lucas, she is 19 years old and is a college student at Delaware County Community College. She has been a part of the TSC coaching staff for the past 2 years. Michelle was a competitive gymnast for 8 years and then switched to cheerleading. She fell in love with the sport and enjoyed 6 amazing years as an all-star often competing 2 levels per season and was fortunate enough to win multiple National Championships (both UCA and NCA), and make lifelong friendships. Working with children and cheerleading are the two things she loves most which is why her job is very important to her.
